Every book type needs its own unique “International Standard Book Number” or ISBN. This identifies your book to retailers and libraries much like a UPC code. We can provide you with an ISBN and a barcode to go with it for your print book.
Specify your book type, whether hardcover or paperback. If you plan to have one of each type, you will need two distinct ISBNs. The barcode and ISBN will be printed on the back cover, and the ISBN number alone must be listed on the copyright page.
Please tell us if you want to incorporate a price into your ISBN bar code (the second bar code after with a 50000 designation). We strongly recommend not having a price (the code with a 90000 designation). If the price is already assigned on the ISBN, it cannot be changed easily. If it was changed, it would cost having to resubmit a whole new book cover, and possibly buying a new ISBN. ( Valid only on a book published by Tovim Press.)
Note: Any author who does not have an ISBN with Tovim Press automatically forfeits their right to sell their book, to be included in the “Books in Print” database, and will not be able to make any royalties. These books will instead have a non-distributable SKU.
