ISBN

The ISBN or “International Standard Book Number” is to a book as a Social Security number is to a person. Each format of a book title must have its own ISBN, whether paperback, hardcover or e-Book. Even a boxed set will have its own ISBN to identify that it is its own entity, even though each book inside the set has one of its own.
